Wet and windy by Steve Ott
By: Steve Ott
Actually of course I enjoy sowing seeds of any sort - it never loses its fascination. So the beautifully scented Nicotiana sylvestris and 'Fragrant Cloud' duly sown, along with the petunias and some Rudbeckia 'Prairie Sun', I at last opened a packet of broad bean 'The Sutton' to sow asecond batch - in trays as the soil is so wet after 3-4 days of torrential rain. Then 9am and back in fornt of the computer to plan the July issue.
The veggies will have to wait until tonight. It's a tough life, but someone has to live it!
