I know that this is an old lawn tractor but it is in really good nick except for the deck which is a sort of cowl over the blades. I need to find a new or second hand one can anyone help me? I think it was made in 1992 I can't find a seriel number although it should be under the seat it is not there.

new decks... if you can get one tend to be expensive....ebay is the obvious place to keep an eye on..for a used one.. im not familiar with that model number... think mine is a 1028 ... 10hp 28 inch cut , i ended up buying another well worn machine and cut the good outer 2 thirds off one deck to bolt onto the good inner two thirds of the other one.... coat of thick black paint and you dont notice the join.... other alternatives are to weld patches on or coat the inside of the deck with a layer of fibregass

last resort sell yours on ebay and buy another one
