 Butterfly bonanza!
The last couple of sunny days, with sedums and michaelmas daisies flowering, have brought a real bonanza of butterflies in our garden and around: small tortoiseshell (18 on one clump of sedums!), red admiral, peacock, comma, painted lady, speckled wood and wall brown - probably the best show we have had for a few years. Presumably the colder and drier winter was good for the chrysales and they all did well!

 Re: Butterfly bonanza!
Evening Monika, it is a real pleasure to see the butterfly population increasing, isn't it, let's hope it continues next year.
