 Red Kale
I've just bought a packet of red (Scarlet) Kale. There's no information on the packet about whether it changes colour to green when cooked. Can somebody advise please, and whether there's any difference in taste/flavour from the green curled variety. Is it as winter hardy?

 Re: Red Kale
Hi Primrose,
I grew this last year as I couldn't find any Redbor, which looks very similar. I found it coarser than the Redbor, but OK. It does turn greener when cooked and you end up with purple cooking water. It is also winter hardy and the colour looks great in the veg bed.
