 Had to share this.
It's not my drive, just happened to walk that way with the dog this afternoon.

 Re: Had to share this.
Thanks for that lovely photo, Peter. However "vulgar" some people pronounce the mass plantings of daffodils, they do look so cheery in March when not much else is in colour and I love them!
On the road into the lovely Dales market town of Skipton (our nearest town), Skipton Building Society planted hundreds or thousands of bulbs a few years ago and every spring the wide grass verges are a picture of yellow, purple and a gorgeous patch of mixed crocuses. They make me smile every time I pass them .... Opposite, in the grounds of Skipton Castle, the first sign of spring is always a huge bank of snowdrops.
When I was a child, we had a lovely coppice in the garden and my favourite time was in spring when the sweet violets and wild anemones and scillas flowered in the wood. The smell was wonderful and any slight whiff of sweet violet now takes me straight back to my childhood.

 Re: Had to share this.
That fence looks a bit wobbly.
Did you try to fix it Peter?
