Inconsiderate neighbours, that's who. Think nothing of hopping over my back fence or leaning over with a rake or broom to retrieve their childs ball!!!

Top of one of the potato plants clean snapped off! Doubt I'll get anything from that plant this year - too much damage.

Not a happy bunny!

Dear vegpatchmum, sorry to read about that.
And i bet if the tables were turned, they would be very angry about the situation.
Very thoughtless indeed......

Have you spoken to them about it - alternatively cand you pop up a higher fence to block them out.

Hi gallotments - fence is already 6ft tall with prikka strip along the top and they aren't the most approachable people in the world (him in particular). I'll have to try and see them (her maybe).

They have a 'we live in a 250k exec home and you live in a delapidated (read restored) old cottage, so therefore we're better than you' mentallity and have done since they moved in. It's a very frustrating situation.

I wouldn't mind so much but she'll come round and ask for any errant balls back, he just pops over the fence or rakes about over the fence with little regard for the veg he knows we grow there. Thing is he does it when we're not about so we only know it's him because other neighbours have seen him.

Arggghhhh.

in plaster :) :) .
