The pond was "boiling" with frogs today but no spawn as yet.
Warm but mainly very grey.

Started on indoor sowing today - broad beans in root trainers - tomatoes, peppers and lettuce. Feel a lot better having made a start.

..and do we need some promising weather for the next 5 days too....with vehicle and many many foot steps of folk carrying heavy things back across the front lawns and the now very flat front gravel drive......There was still the front and back doors to the marquee to assemble from scratch and fit when I left for home yesterday evening.

....and some lovely sunny weather is needed this afternoon for the arrival of the happy couple, family and friends

I made a bit of time yesterday morning to do some flower seed sowing in seed pans, now in the propagator. Sam was out with the big mower adding stripes to all the big lawns.

It is lovely sunny as I type...and 2 C showing on the weather station.

Morning Clive, i do hope yourself, Sam and the volunteers, get some lovely feedback from the guests. You all certainly deserve it.
I'm sure it all looks stunning for this time of the year......

Bless the mini-blowtorch.

The sulphur candle wick stopped burning when it reached the sulphur pellets last weekend, pulled it up a bit & relit it using the blowtorch, I now have a sulphur fogged greenhouse.

While it was going I went and dug 6'x21' on the allotment. :D
