As a registered user I was hesitant about putting my e mail address on the profile - main reason is that a couple of years ago when we did this many of us started getting an unmanageable load of spam. Is it OK to put in our e mail now without this happening again. (I have no problem with forum users e mailing me if they wish - but I don't want the rubbish adverts and porn)

Hi,

no-one should be able to see your email address if you put it in the email field of your profile, but you can be contacted via the website...

Please note, if you use your email address as your USER name, it will be visible to all (and the evil spam-bots !:evil:)

I'll add my e mail to my profile - there were problems with the old furum when all our e mails were scooped up and we got the kind of spam that some had never dreamed existed.
