Produces tubers on long stolons which increases the risk of spearing them - if you're not careful. Potatoes can vary considerably, not only due to soil, but also latitude. According to Alan Romans, this variety, bred in Scotland, is pretty tasteless there, but excellent in places like Australia (difference in length of day, sunlight, etc). I found it ok here in Wales and England around latitude 51N40.
