Post Limescale in irrigation system
Having reassembled our Hozelok garden irrigation system today we find the micro water jets have become really clogged with limescale and spray unevenly. (We're in a very hard water area). Does anybody have any hints for easily clearing the jets, preferably in situ? And what's the best thing to clear them with? Don't think bathroom limescale cleaner is quite the answer !

Have taken your advice, walked round them all this morning and doused them with white vinegar (not balsamic !!) The air is damp so I'm not sure whether this will slow down its evaporation or speed it up by washing the mixture off. We're off for an Easter break tomorrow so will test it out when we return and see if there's any improvement.

The vinegar update. Brushing with vinegar didn't help too much - I suspect it probably evaporated before it could really work its way into all the tiny nooks & crannies of the sprinkler nozzles. However, yesterday we removed all the mini sprinkler nozzles and soaked them in white vinegar overnight. They have now been replaced and yippee, the result is wonderful, with water spraying out over a large area.
