Why do PMs stick in the outbox sometimes?
I've noticd that (unlike emails) most PMs go to the outbox and sit there for up to a day sometimes. Guess that gives us protection and a degree of "un-send" capability.
However today I saw one I'd sent 2 days ago still in there. There's no obvious way to trigger the transmission.
Does anyone know the answer? Have I used up my supply of electronic stamps

Good morning Colin_M, i'm pretty sure the messages stay there until someone has received them, by that i mean actually clicked on tham to read them.
If i'm right, that will be the one and only technical question i have, and will be able to answer.

The out box is exactly as OH and Tigger say, an out box. When the message has been collected it moves to your sent file.
If someone chooses not to pick up a message it can stay there for all eternity You can however edit or delete the message whilst it's there.

Thanks everyone.
From the description of how it works, this sounds like a view to the other person's Inbox!!
In most other mail systems, the Outbox is where things sit before they've been transmitted. Anyway, at least I'm wiser now.

I suppose this will now mean that the K.G Admin team will be trying to head-hunt me for trouble-shooting problems.

Re: Why do PMs stick in the outbox sometimes?
I just sent my first PM and this helped me. I was wondering why my message was sitting in the Outbox when the Sent time said 13:52 (a few minutes had gone by). I too thought it would work like email. We do presume don't we!
