 Improvisation..
Not sure if this fits here...
With very little money and some disability, making a frame for runner beans to climb up was a problem... We have been so far north we have never been able to grow these..
In the shed here we found a lot of old wooden chairs and some planks.. so our beans have swarmed over these very happily and the chairs have vanished under the blossom.. I have a photo somewhere..Propped the planks against and between the chairs..
Never would have believed they would grow like that...
Now if only I had realised that the peas would rampage as they have done, they too could have sat down...
Picked well over a pound of runners yesterday, which I am glad about after the cattle got in this morning; see wasps nest thread.,.
