I hate the faff of turning clocks back - leave it at one hour summertime permanently would get my vote.

I agree. Leave it on summer time. We can have either dark mornings or darker early evenings. Either way it is dark in the winter and there's nothing we can do about that. I'd just rather not have to fiddle with my clocks. Still, it does mean now that the clock in my car will tell the correct time until next spring (the little adjustment knob has broken off).

I think (?) the proposal is to change time zone.

So that would mean summertime (GMT + 2) still started at the end of March and finished, as now, at the end of October (return to GMT + 1).

"Faffing" will continue :shock:

Don't think the Scots are too keen on a sunrise after 9am and understand why. :?

Thankfully the motion to alter our clocks to double summertime went out of time whilst being debated in the Commons,so that's it, but no doubt it will be dragged up again in the very near future!
