When I checked my stored potatoes today I found Charlotte and Kerrs Pink had started to sprout the others Cara, British Queen and Maris Peer were ok, is it a bit early for potatoes to sprout?.

It may well be the mild weather. I noticed a couple of mine in a big sack had small sprouts.

I think you are keeping them too warm, Bren - any chance of a cooler place?

Thanks Solway Cropper and Monica, the potatoes are stored in a cold shed at the top of the garden, we did have some mild weather so the hessian sacks may have kept them warm, I will use those ones first.
