The KG editorial team, alias Captain Carrot and Lady Lettuce, managed to escape the office and have a day out at the Chelsea Flower Show press day. Every year KG scours the show to find the 'token' fruit and veg among the gardens and stands. This year the massive interest in growing-your-own has had a big influence on the show with considerably more edible crops in the displays. Here is just a selection of images the team grabbed at the show. More will feature in the August issue of Kitchen Garden. As you can see from the pictures Steve (editor) didn't just take an interest in the cabbages....halfway through the day he turned into Captain 'paparazzi' carrot and bagged some stars too.
