By: Steve Ott
The Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers will be at RHS Garden Harlow Carr on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June to display their skilled craft.
Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers at RHS Garden Harlow Carr
Visitors are invited to watch the beekeepers at work and have a go themselves as they demonstrate the art of candle making and rolling, and honey extraction. There will also be the chance to see how traditional beekeeping structures are made during the Skep making demos.
The mini bees in the family will be kept entertained with the ever-popular Waggle Dancing - a fun way to show kids how bees communicate, as well as honeycomb building games and quizzes.
