Harrogate Flower Show is a twice-yearly event held at the Yorkshire Showground and is one that any grower of fruit and veg should not miss. Kitchen Garden magazine has been a regular exhibitor for a number of years now and supports the event by sponsoring the ever-popular Kitchen Garden Live demo area. This hosts a rolling programme of talks and demonstrations and as part of that Steve and Emma are always there to participate and meet the readers.
This spring they demonstrated how to get the best from veg in containers and proved that even those with very little space, such as a small patio or balcony, can grow useful amounts of edible crops.
If you couldn’t get along to the spring event why not book for the autumn show (Sept 14-16, 2012) now and save money on your tickets. The autumn event is always packed with great fruit and veg displays. You can also see the world class produce on display at the annual vegetable championships including the latest record attempt in the heaviest onion competition also sponsored by KG. Visit: www.flowershow.org.uk to find out more and save £2.50 on gate prices.
