Herb Society herb day in association with the Garden Museum
By: Steve Ott
Herbs are more than just green leaves......visit Herb Day - 9 JUNE - 10.30 TO 4pm and find out for yourself.
Come to the Garden Museum and brush up on your herbs.
Herbs in the household, in the garden, in the history books, in a child’s hand – herbs are everywhere! Improve your health, jazz up your cooking, protect your clothes from moths, make your rooms smell fresh the natural way, scare yourself silly reading how herbs were used in history and see the joy on a child’s face when their sunflower seed grows to 6’. The Herb Society’s Herb Day at the Garden Museum will help you make the most of nature's little wonders.
Exhibitors include:
Pennards Plants; Herb Society; Natural Beekeeping Trust; Make your own tussie mussie; Jackie Power, medical herbalist; Rose products from Poland; Sue Minter talks in the garden; Sunflower seed planting for children and more.
Delicious herb-inspired food by Sorrel Ferguson in the Garden Café
