By: Paul Peakcock
Every month keen kitchen gardener Paul Peacock brings you a top tip from his plot. I was very interested in the use of the container. However, did he drill drainage holes in the bottom, and what sort of compost did he use? Also why plant the whole of the coriander and basil. I suspect that there are far too many plants to be successful.
I have for many years split these up into 3-4 different clumps, then transplanted them and had a wonderful crop for most of the year.
