Open gardens website
By: Steve Ott
A Leicestershire couple who have run Open Gardens in their village for a number of years have developed an innovative solution to finding out the dates of Open Gardens events – a national Open Gardens website specifically aimed at town and village Open Gardens.
New website set to make finding great gardens to visit much easier
Frustrated by the difficulty of finding Open Gardens event dates and promoting their own village event, the couple thought it seemed the obvious solution and were surprised that it had not already been done.
The website is in its infancy but will benefit event organisers and also those who attend Open Gardens weekends. For the humble town or village Open Gardens event, this is an exciting opportunity to get an event publicised for free.
