Local growers will be gathering to swap their seeds ready for spring. Seed swapping has always been done amongst gardeners, so this is a chance to get together and swap seeds that do well in Whitstable and Kent.
Gardeners from the area are invited to come along with their saved seeds and exchange them. The Whitstable Seed Swap gives people the chance to save money, experiment with different seed varieties, share favourites, ensure the survival of old and heritage plant varieties and also encourages biodiversity.
If you don’t have any seeds saved come along anyway as there will be some interesting seeds available for a small donation.Garlinge Quartet in the Community Allotment Seed Swap
