I’m sure we gardeners are pretty good at multi-tasking, and even more so when equipped with a multi-purpose tool. Here are a few we tried out this month
This Mini Multi-change® Gift Set contains a trowel, small cultivator, small lawn rake, double hoe and small handle, suitable for planting, loosening, weeding and cleaning. The handle included can also be interchanged with over 60 different tool heads in the multi-change® range.
This is an excellent set of hand tools, perfect for a range of tasks in the garden and perfect for using in borders, small vegetable plots and raised beds. Attaching each tool head to the handle is slick and the connection is secure. This would make a super gift for someone just starting out but useful too for more seasoned gardeners who are looking for a multi-use set.

CORDLESS GRASS-AND BUSH SHEAR
The Einhell GE-CG 18/100 Li-Solo cordless grass and shrub shear has laser-cut and diamond-ground blades and a soft-grip , ergonomic handle. Use it for trimming hedges, edging lawns or trimming round posts or other stationary objects. Each blade has its own cover to keep curious fingers from harm. The battery and charger are not included so will need to be bought separately.
This is a handy piece of equipment for tidying up your hedges and lawns. It comes with two blades (one for grass, one for shrubs) that are easily interchangeable. The locking mechanism is crisp and secure. The blades are sharp and the cutting action is very effective. The soft grip handle is comfortable to hold and vibration is minimal. You will, however, need to purchase a charger and battery if you don’t already have one but these can also be used with other Einhell cordless tools.

PLANTING & WEEDING TROWEL
This Darlac multi-trowel can be used in four different ways. The forked end is for lifting weeds, the honed edge for easing plants out of pots, the saw edge to cut through roots and a string cutting notch. It has an ergonomic rubber handle and a stainless steel tool with a planting depth guide.
For such a small tool, this is definitely one that is punching above its weight. Weeding, planting, measuring planting depth and cutting string are all combined in this cleverly designed tool. The ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold with a place to position thumb a nice touch. This is a really useful and versatile tool which, at the price, offers excellent value for money.
