Businesses celebrate Mexican artist with floral installations as part of Belgravia in Bloom 2018.
Belgravia in Bloom 2018 kicked off this week, this year celebrating the remarkable 20th century artist, Frida Kahlo (1907-1954). More than 50 boutiques, hotels and restaurants across the area are displaying stunning floral installations on their store-fronts, with many also creating Frida-inspired products, experiences and food and drink throughout the week (May 19-26).
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland is the lead sponsor for the upcoming V&A exhibition, ‘Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up’, which opens next month. As a result, a larger than life mural, complete with a floral headdress installation, has appeared at Eccleston Yards, a new destination in the heart of Belgravia.
