DOUBLE HOE WITH FIXED HANDLE
This Double Hoe features a broad, sharp angled blade on one side to be used for weeding or drawing out seed drills. On the reverse side, there are three sharp prongs to help break up heavy soil. This lightweight tool has a comfort grip fixed handle for extra support during the pulling movement.
This is a very versatile hand tool. The pronged side enables you to penetrate the soil easily and churn up the soil to quite a depth, and weeds can be drawn along with it. Turn it over and you have a blade which enables more of a chopping action, getting into the soil and uprooting weeds. This is a light but sturdy double value tool offering excellent value for money.
ELEMENTS ONION HOE
The blade has a hammer finish epoxy coated head for improved resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkalis in the soil. It also has a weatherproofed, (clear lacquered) ash wood handle for greater durability.
When hoeing onions it is often better to get up close so that the bulbs aren’t damaged by sloppy hoeing with a long handed tool. Onion hoes, like this one with its narrow blade, are especially designed to get in between bulbs and keep the rows weed free. A well designed and effective tool.

This Sneeboer weeder loosens the earth around the roots, allowing taprooted weeds to be removed completely. Hand-forged in Holland, then shaped, polished and sharpened by hand, this tool has a cherry wood handle, and 17cm (6½in) stainless steel prongs which have a 10-year guarantee.
We found this tool very effective. The ends of the prongs are suitably sharp, capable of piercing compacted or clay soil to get to the bottom of those deep-lying taproots. Comfortable in the hand and made to last, this is an excellent weeder to have at one’s side in the garden. Great for lawn weeds but use it on the plot too.
