How and when to use TRICO® Garden?
Use TRICO® Garden at the first sign of deer damage, especially in spring and autumn, when browsing is most frequent.
To apply, dilute 1 part TRICO® Garden with 3 to 5 parts water, depending on the level of deer pressure. The dilute spray is applied to vulnerable parts of ornamental plants, shrubs and trees. A single application may be sufficient, but if deer damage continues, repeat after 28 days. A maximum of 4 applications can be made per year.
Pro tip: Apply in the early morning or late evening on hot days to avoid leaf scorch. Don’t apply if rain is forecast as the spray needs to dry on the plant to work effectively.
