These Japanese-made garden snips have slender blades made from SK85 carbon steel with a maximum branch diameter of 3mm. There is nylon webbing strap at the base of the handles to keep them together for safe carriage.
A well-made, robust and effective product with suitably sharp pointed blades for navigating through foliage if necessary. The handles were suitably shaped to fit snugly into the palm of the hand and make the snipping process a comfortable one. Light in weight and with a spring action with just about the right amount of tension.

These are very good pair of snips. Well- made with sharp, pointed blades and comfortable, contoured handles. We liked the stainless steel blades which promise good rust resistance and ease of cleaning. The spring had quite a lot of tension in it which may suit some but other may prefer a little less.

The Darlac DP842 Ergo Snips are pocket-size and will fit into the palm of one hand. It has an ergonomic handle designed to keep the snips securely in the hand for cutting. A clip at the bottom of the handles clicks them closed when not in use.
Loved the design of these. Very well made with quite a strong spring tension if required. Fits into the palm of the hand very well, though some cushioning on the handles would have made for more comfortable snipping. Neat clip at the base of the handles for safe storage.
