This kit provides a strong framework for runner beans, French climbing beans, sweet peas and taller varieties of pea. You could also use it for growing some squashes such as ‘Tromboncino’ and even smaller varieties of pumpkin. It is relatively easy to put together using plastic connectors but you will need to use a mallet to tap them home. The netting is made of jute which you can peg down (pegs provided). The netting will last a long time and with an 8cm (3in) mesh size, it is easy to pass the hand through for ease of harvesting.
