One of the most ornamental displays in the Floral Marquee at Gardening Scotland was entirely edible.
Brighter Blooms is based outside Preston and its main speciality is calla lilies – but for its Scottish outing the nursery chose to showcase its other speciality, baby leaf salads. Its picture-perfect planters contained everything from coriander to kale, closely sown for cutting at salad size. In the centre of the display were other container options like tumbling tomatoes and dwarf runner beans.
Brighter Blooms offers a wide range of vegetable seed suitable for baby leaf cultivation, plus an attractive selection of other vegetable cultivars, with all packets priced at ÂŁ1.
