Italian seed shop opens in London

Franchi Seeds of Italy has just launched ‘the first dedicated seed store to open in a generation’ – and there’s 10% off until May 15*

The company’s warehouse, in Harrow in north-west London, has been transformed into ‘The Little Italian Market’. Its design is based on a Roman villa façade – complete with Roman armour, 90-year-old Italian accordions and a Fiat 500.

Aiming to stock everything you need for ‘Italy from seed to plate’, the store will offer over 800 varieties of Franchi vegetable, organic, flower and herb seed, garlic bulbs, preserving equipment including passata machines and Tuscan jam kits, artisanal regional products including Roman pine nuts, Sicilian black chickpeas and Calabrian citrus jams, and Italian essentials like buffalo mozzarella.
